Designs with elegance and quality for Prosciutto di Norcia
Bocanegra Studio was recently commissioned to develop a new brand identity for Prosciutto di Norcia, one of the most historic and famous hams in Italy. The designers presented a solution that conveys the two main characteristics of Prosciutto di Norcia: quality and craftsmanship through various branded materials, as well as different patterns, colors and high-end finishes. Their goal was to find the perfect balance between elegance and a warm, tactile, handcrafted appearance.
The Norcia Redesign serves as the most striking visual image of the identity. It is a modern version of the historical writings made by the ancient Benedictine monks of Norcia. The creative design team at Bocanegra Studio has also created a variety of square patterns, reminiscent of the floor decorations in some medieval Umbrian churches.
