Restaurant Menu Cards: Useful Templates

[ad_1]In this entry, updated several times already, we will be putting references that may be interesting for owners of restaurants, cafeterias and / or food establishments, who want to try to prepare the letter or menu on their own.

Of course my recommendation is that you hire a graphic designer for this job, but since simpler sites don’t need something too fancy, surely these templates can help you.

As for the professional designer, with this list you can always save work or simply get inspired, so it will also be of interest to you.

We will first include the free templates that we are locating (being free they are almost always very simple), and then we will add others of a premium type that are quite cheap, in case a more detailed/exclusive work is desired or needed.

The format is varied, in some cases INDD from InDesign, but also vector from Illustrator and, above all, PSD from Photoshop. There is also a model that has a version for Corel and other even less common formats (detailed in each case).

Trifold menu card for cafeteria, cybercafé, or simple establishment (multi-format template).

The good thing about the trifold format is that it can also be used as a brochure for the establishment. I will include several templates in that format for this reason.

High-quality template, with professional vintage-style design. Elegant and very usable by all types of establishments.

This template is prepared for many different dishes and drinks, and has a nice background decoration with a plant motif in vector format, in good quality.

In this case, the menu will serve well for any cafeteria that does not need great sophistication in design.

PSD template for letter or simple menu.

A simple design for simple sites without great pretensions. It will serve well for small restaurants, bars or various terraces, as well as popular food places, Italian food, Mexican, pizzerias, hamburgers (burguers, fast food in general), etc …

Generic carte-menu-flyer-poster for food site, with dishes, offers, in PSD.

Simple and practical design, which can also be used for the establishment’s poster or flyer . Therefore useful, a single sheet on both sides. Ideal for popular food places, with few –but good- dishes, or to highlight some specific specialties. Also for cafes and pubs, burguers, pizzerias, bars with mixed dishes, etc.

This design is the same as the previous one in format, although more detailed and with more differentiated parts, so it will serve better for sites with more variety in drinks and food. The style is also burger, with food at popular prices, sandwiches, tapas … Practical and unpretentious.

Generic menu-menu of 4 pages for food site, in PSD.

This menu is also simple and unpretentious, therefore for food places, burgers and similar establishments, but in this case it is not a single sheet, but two. Like a bi-fold brochure. Therefore there is room for more dishes, drinks, desserts … It is printed on a single sheet of paper on both sides (for example on an A3) and then folded in half, giving rise to a 4-page menu (A4 size, which is the half of A3).

Photoshop PSD format. It is a diptych (a single sheet printed on both sides, and folded in half to create 4 pages). Inside is the menu with the prices of each specialty. The idea of the design is to serve for a bar or tavern dedicated to wine and/or beer, or a brewery, for which it will serve very well, but in reality, it can be dedicated to any other type of drinks (spirits, cocktails, mixed drinks, etc.) or even meals by changing the photos.

Photoshop PSD format . It is a menu to print on a single A4 size paper or a little larger (it measures about 21×30 cms.), On both sides. As it is in high resolution (300 dpi) it can be printed without problem on an A3. Otherwise, simple menu without photos, adorned with elegant filigree and appropriate typeface. May be fine for ice cream parlors, coffee shops, and patisseries.

Photoshop PSD format. It is a menu size more or less A5, simple, with a single sheet on both sides. Thus, 2 can be printed in a single A4 (then it is cut with a guillotine, and therefore we obtain a 2×1). Otherwise it is in high resolution (300 dpi) and ready to print, with a beautiful design and appropriate for pastry shops, ice cream parlors and similar establishments.

I complete this post by adding some more sophisticated and specialized jobs , which are logically not free anymore (although quite cheap, therefore certainly interesting for designers and restaurant owners alike).
